Advanced Simulations of Turbulent Flows in the Environment

Work will be done on the development of advanced three-dimensional numerical models to simulate the transport of pollutants and sediments controlled by turbulence dynamics in environmental flows in complex geometries, with the main objective of understanding transport and mixing processes in river and/or coastal systems.
